This educational seminar will provide basic knowledge and fundamental understanding of the testing and certification requirements for the following extinguishing systems types: foam, clean agent and protection of commercial cooking equipment. It starts with an overview of UL, UL’s relationship with NFPA, and global use of UL and NFPA standards. Agents and equipment used in combination will be explained with examples and details. Certification requirements for construction, testing and performance will be elaborated. Finally details will be provided on factory production control, the certification process and its benefits. There will be time for commonly asked questions with answers during the seminar and at its conclusion.
