This course explains pipeline dispatching, batch tracking and interface tracking. It describes pipeline facility equipment such as pumps, motors and valves and their use in manipulating the control point of an operating line. It identifies the Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure (MAOP) of the line and describes the remote control system used to monitor line pressure. Finally, this course discusses the fundamental hydraulic principles that relate to product flow in the pipeline.
