Incident Command System: Structure and Components


This course defines the Incident Command System (ICS), why it was created, the structure including its major components and its importance and use. ICS was primarily created to manage and organize emergency response efforts with an emphasis on safety. The learner will be introduced to the responsibilities of the operations, logistics planning, liaison, safety and finance offices.
