UL 62109: Power Converters for Use in PV Systems

Description

This one-day course provides a summary for clients already familiar with UL 1741 looking to move into certification to the new UL 62109 Standard. UL 62109 is derived from the existing IEC 62109 Standard. This training course reviews the scope of the UL 62109 standard, the overall requirements of the standard such as construction requirements and testing, and covers the national deviations established in the creation of UL 62109 relative to IEC 62109. Its content will benefit photovoltaic power inverter/converter manufacturers interested in globally accepted certification, manufacturers planning on transitioning from UL 1741 to UL 62109 in the future, and manufacturers who want to understand the differences between IEC 62109 and UL 62109.
