Transaction Security: An Introduction to NFC Technology


Near Field Communication (NFC) is a technology that allows devices such as smart phones and tablets to communicate by touching them together or holding them in close proximity to each other or to a passive target.  This module provides an introduction to NFC (near field communication) technology for consumer technology manufacturers.  It describes how NFC can be used to enrich the functions and features of consumer electronics as well as the certifications needed for various uses.
