Overcurrent Protection: Circuit Breakers and Fuses


Description

Overcurrent protection is a means of preventing electrical fire and shock hazards from occurring in conductors and connected equipment. This is often the last opportunity to protect individuals from serious harm as a result of electric shock or fire. Gain an understanding of the use and application of circuit breakers and fuses as the primary means of overcurrent protection required by the NEC.
