Description

Risk management is a process that helps identify and control risks associated with a product. It is used to supplement the evaluation of a product in accordance with safety standard requirements. Gain a base-line understanding of an optimal risk management program and how to identify different types and levels of risk.

 

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:

  • Explain the role of risk management and the four phases that make up an optimal risk management program
  • Describe the concepts and phases of risk management, its purpose and the difficulties associated with assessing risk within the parameters of ever-evolving safety requirements and technology
  • Explain the methodology for performing each phase of the risk management program for a product
