UL Data Acceptance Program Requirements for Participation

Description

UL’s Data Acceptance Program (DAP) provides a means for UL to accept externally generated test data in support of UL Mark certification. Participating test facilities are required to have the appropriate physical resources, equipment and qualified personnel needed to conduct testing, equivalent to what would be used in UL’s own laboratories for the same testing.

This interactive one-day seminar provides an overview of the UL DAP programs and an in-depth look at UL’s interpretation of ISO/IEC 17025 as well as DAP data recording and reporting requirements.

The course is comprised of two separate training modules: a one-hour eLearning component and one-day instructor-led session. The eLearning component provides a high-level overview of the five different types of data acceptance programs and the main requirements for participation. The online course is completed in advance, enabling participants to maximize their in-class time with our UL expert. The instructor-led session digs deeper into the detailed technical content and features progressive knowledge checks and engaging interactions to help learners reinforce and apply the new concepts.
