Codes, Standards and Listings


This program provides an overview of the US regulatory systems which uses a combination of Codes, Standards and Listings to provide safe buildings in which to live, work and play.  This instructor led course will explain the roles that codes, standards and certifications have in the US building community. Attendees will gain an understanding of how third party certifications are developed, as well as explain the importance of such certifications. The principles covered by this course apply regardless of the publisher of the codes and standards, and regardless of the certification organization used.
