Globalability: The Key to International Compliance

Is the world your marketplace? Spend two days with UL to learn how to identify and comply with product regulations in your key international markets, and then leverage the similarities and differences among those markets to develop a compliance strategy that can deliver the results you're looking for. Whether you're in one market or many, this workshop will help you stay on top of the global compliance game.

Get essential facts about China's 3C Mark, Japan's DENAN Program and the associated marks for prescribed and non-prescribed products, Mexico's NOM Mark and the Federal Law of Metrology and Standardization, plus the Republic of Korea's K Mark and Safety Certification Scheme. The workshop additionally addresses Europe's CE Marking and provides key information on other markets, including Australia, Argentina, and the Russian Federation.

You will also be given UL's latest information about other key global compliance systems, current or pending product legislation, regulatory climates, regional trade arrangements, international standards development and global harmonization initiatives. Then, taking all of these factors into account, you'll be able to utilize UL's model for developing an effective global compliance strategy that incorporates the regulatory requirements for markets worldwide while considering the often overlooked market requirements that impact your product's overall acceptance.

This workshop focuses on electrical safety and EMC regulations for household and commercial electrical products. It does not cover regulations pertaining specifically to the compliance areas of hazardous locations, machinery, medical or telecommunication equipment.
